Sunday Post #21

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life
Exams are over and next week will be my final working week in that school. The principal will only be able to tell me if I can stay at that school by the end of August, which means I have to start applying for jobs as soon as possible. Still, I hope they will be able to offer me something in the same school.

Blog and books

I have been reading more this week which feels amazing! I have read Leah on the Offbeat, Lifel1k3 and Sheets! One of which I have already reviewed on this blog! I'm currently reading A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas and hope to finish it soon.

Movies and TV Shows

I have watched three movies: Set it up, Indecent Proposal and Center Stage all of which were okay but not amazing.
I also started watching Westworld but it bores me at times, which is really disappointing. Our Girl is back, I liked the story better when it centred around Molly but I'm watching it.

What did you read or watch recently?

If you enjoyed this review, please follow me on Bloglovin'TwitterInstagram, TVShowTime and Goodreads! I would really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. I hope to read LIFEL1K3 soon! And soon could mean in a week or two or a couple of months with me but whatever. xD Also, I LOVE Center Stage. I was obsessed with it when I saw it the first time.

    1. That's usually what soon means to me as well :)
I really liked Center Stage too! I used to watch dance movies all the time!

  3. I've been curious about Lifelik3 since I liked the Illuminae books, but have never read Kristoff's solo stuff. Hope it's good! The premise sounds really wild. And Westworld S1 bored me at times- I love the idea, and how immersive the world is, but not a lot happens lol? I don't know if S2 is better though, haven't watched any of it yet.

    1. I absolutely recommend The Nevernigth Chronicle, not sure how I feel about Lifel1k3 yet, the ending was great but I had issues with the rest of the book. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was bored by Westworld!

  4. It’s always good to get lots of reading done. I wish I could do that. I’ve been having a very hard time concentrating on books lately. Have a great week!

    1. I am just coming out of a reading slump, so I completely understand! I'm relieved I have more time to read now.

Have a great week as well!

  5. My dad likes the sound of Westworld but I don't like the look of it at all. Hope you get to stay at that school!
