March Wrap Up

I read 13 books in March and I'm very happy with that! I probably won't be able to read more than this for the rest of the year.

Here are the books I read in March:

1. The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) by Holly Black

I enjoyed this book and you can find my review here.

2. Horimiya Vol. 2 by Hero

Really enjoying this manga series! It's so cute! 4 stars!

3. The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis

This book is incredible! I still think about it often and it definitely had an impact on me. Highly recommend this one! 5 stars! This was my favourite book of the month!

4. My Lady Jane (The Lady Janies, #1) by Cynthia Hand

Sadly, I expected more from this book. You can find my review here.

5. The Seafarer's Kiss by Julia Ember

I borrowed this book from my friend and I'm so glad I got the chance to read it! It was really good! 4 stars!

6. To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

I really enjoyed this book! I found it quite original and dark. I originally gave it 5 stars but I'm lowering it to 4 stars. I definitely recommend it though!

7. Gone Rogue (Wires and Nerve, #2) by Marissa Meyer

I LOVE the Lunar Chronicles and this was a fun continuation! 4 stars!

8. Perfect World, Vol. 1 (Perfect World, #1) by Rie Aruga

I got this manga from Netgalley and you can find my review here.

9. Waking Gods (Themis Files, #2) by Sylvain Neuvel

Really enjoyed this book! Better than the first one in my opinion! Review to come!

10. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

This was such an entertaining and fast science fiction novel! It reminded me so much of the TV show Fringe, which I loved! 4 stars!

11. Obsidio (The Illuminae Files #3) by Amie Kaufman

I'm both happy and sad that I have now read the final book in this trilogy. Illuminae is still my favourite but Obsidio is now second place. I did lower my rating to four stars because I wished to see more of the new characters.

12. Through the Woods by Emily Carroll

This graphic novel is stunning! Really the art is incredible! The stories were a little too short for me, though, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

13. The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, #1) by Robert Galbraith

I never read mysteries or crime novels but I was excited to read this one. Unfortunately, I thought this was soooo slow and it frequently bored me. I did like the characters which is why I still want to read the other books in the series. 2 stars.

Which books did you recently read? Have you read any of the books mentioned above or are you planning to? Leave your thoughts down below!

  1. I feel the same about Obsidio. The new characters didn't get as much time to shine in the book like the others did but it was still awesome.

  2. I plan to read My Lady Jane at some point when time allows. I'm not a crime fan but I did try the cuckoo one just because it was JK Rowling but I found it too slow despite interesting MCs.
