Sunday Post #15

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life
Incredibly busy week and next week is going to be even worse! Some of my classes are very difficult to teach which stresses me out but I'm looking forward to trying out different ways to get them to participate in my lessons. We'll see how it goes.

Blog

I only found the time to post a Can't Wait Wednesday post this week.

Books, TV and Film

It was my mother's birthday this week and I got her The Greatest Showman, which we had to watch immediately, of course! I really enjoyed it, it features so many great songs!

I also watched The Young Victoria, The Graham Norton Show, Scandal and two episodes of The Alienist. I have to say, I really like The Alienist, it's very atmospheric. My favourite character is Sara. Tonight, I will be watching the final episode of The Mole, very excited to find out who it is!

What did you read or watch recently?

If you enjoyed this review, please follow me on Bloglovin'TwitterInstagram, TVShowTime and Goodreads! I would really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. I hope your classes go well! I also have a class next week that I'm NOT looking forward to teaching, like, at all. Not that it's going to be too bad, it's just... I am having a very busy time, and teaching is an extra job for me, so getting ready for it while it's not the main thing I do feel like a huge hassle.

    1. Thank you! I can understand that, I have to put a lot of time in my preparations, not sure I would be able to juggle it with something else. Good luck!

  2. The greatest showman is one of my new favorite movies. And I can’t wait to watch the alienist. I’m currently watching vampire diaries from the beginning because I never finished it.

  5. It's a relief to be back reading again and at the moment I'm hooked on books about dangerous expeditions with monsters lurking! TV wise I seem to be watching a lot of tv docs about the Royal Family in the run up to the wedding on Saturday.

  6. I'm so far behind on Movies and tv. I just am too wrapped up in books and audiobooks right now. I hope your classes go well. REmember - you are teaching them because you are the one who is knowledgeable and you just have to figure out how to make it interesting / valuable to them. I used to teach math / accounting / computers and there are plenty of real life uses. There is LOTS of math in knitting, cooking and quilting which might be why I enjoy those.
