Sunday Post #85

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I am also linking The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance of Readerbuzz where bloggers discuss what they are reading and other bookish topics.

Life

Sadly my break is over now but I loved having the time to read and blog again. I was finally able to relax and it was something I truly needed. I also went to the coast for two days, just to unwind.

I also joined up for TBTB Secret Santa, I'm excited to participate this year as well.

Blog and books

I read some great books this week, my favourite was The Diviners by Libba Bray! Currently reading Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews and really enjoying it!

This week I also posted a Can't Wait Wednesday post, my October wrap October book haul.

Do you have some urban fantasy recommendations?

Movies and TV Shows

I didn't watch a lot of television this week, I mainly read some books.

What did you read or watch recently?

As always please leave some recommendations on what I should read or watch next!

If you enjoyed this review, please follow me on Bloglovin'TwitterInstagram, TVShowTime and Goodreads! I would really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. The only urban fantasy I've read lately was the Kitty Norville books by Carrie Vaughn- I've only read the first four but I like them. She has a radio show and I thought that was a neat twist.

Glad you had a great break, hope you have a super new week!

  2. I've been watching The Office for the first time. I can't believe it took me this long!! I am loving it! :) If you haven't watched that yet, I definitely recommend it. I also recommend The DNA of Murder with Paul Holes if you're into true crime!

  3. I watched the first episode of The Unicorn; it wasn't too bad. Tonight, I'll be watching The Walking Dead.

    Here's my Sunday Post!

  5. I’m so glad you got to take a break. I wish employers knew how much breaks refresh us!

It’s a good week for me when I mostly read books.

I’m glad you had a good week! Here’s to another week where you are able to do a bit of reading along with a film or two.

  6. Ooooh, the Hidden Legacy series! I really enjoyed that one but I'm an Ilona Andrews fan girl so it's probably not a surprise!
Hope you're having a good week!
