Life
I've had a very busy week and on top of that I had a terrible throat ache since Wednesday. However, I'm happy with everything I did and I am terribly sad that next week will be my last in the school I'm currently teaching. I'm hoping I will be asked to return in May, fingers crossed!
On the Blog
I did not get around to posting the second part of my Stacking the Shelves book haul yesterday, but I hope to do so next Saturday. I did post a Can't-Wait Wednesday post, which you can find here.
Books
I also just realized this book has tentacles on the cover too!
What I watched this week
I did not watch any movies but I did watch an extremely sad episode of Call the Midwife. I feel like this season has been such an emotional rollercoaster. The show used to be so uplifting and upbeat and that's probably why I had such an extreme reaction to the last episode.
I also started watching Jessica Jones on Netflix and it's amazing! I'm on episode 4 now and on the one hand I want to binge watch it and on the other hand I want to savour it and pace myself. But who am I kidding, I'm going to finish it soon :)
What have you been up to this week? What are you currently reading? Have you read any of the books mentioned above? What did you watch last week? Leave your thoughts down below!

Have a wonderful day everyone!
I hope your throat feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that you'll be asked back to this school for May. I'm glad you enjoyed your time there.
I just noticed that season 2 of Jessica Jones is up on Netflix so I'm sure I'll be watching that soon because I really loved season 1.
Thank you! I hope so too! Loving Jessica Jones so far!
DeleteI'm watching Jessica Jones season 2 now. It's hard to not to just binge all the episodes on one day but I want to savor it too. It's my favorite Marvel series on Netflix. :D ♥
ReplyDeleteYes, I feel exactly the same about it!
DeleteI hope you have a good week in reading. I just got back in my home after a week of no power so I am behind in things. Have a good week. =)

Aw, no, that sounds awful! I hope next week is better for you!
DeleteGood luck with getting called back! I'm watching Jessica Jones too and so far it's really good! Definitely my favorite Marvel show, by far.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Jessica Jones and The Punishers are my favourites!
DeleteI really need to catch up on the marvel TV shows on Netflix. I haven't watched any of them! :/
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should!
DeleteLook forward to seeing your haul!!

Sorry to hear about your throat. I hope it feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteI started Jessica Jones but couldn't seem to get into it, maybe just wasn't in the mood at the time.
Here's our weekly wrap up

Thanks! I hope so too!
DeleteI'm just slumped in front of the TV every night at the moment. I'm in a real rut and can't find a way out of it. I have so many great sounding books and films waiting for me but I can't get motivated. Grrr!
ReplyDeleteWell, that has been happening a little bit to me last week as well. I barely read anything...
DeleteI still haven't started the second season of Jessica Jones because I'm hearing mixed things?? But I want to watch it really bad so I'll start it as soon as I can.
ReplyDeleteI now have only two episodes left and at the moment I do prefer the first season. The second started out well but unlike most Netflix Marvel shows, the second part of the show did not pack many punches, so to speak.
DeleteI've been busy with work to read much but I managed to finish a book 2 days ago so yay! The cover for The Seafarer's Kiss looks cute. Will find out what it's about. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you enjoyed the books you read!
