May Wrap Up

My new job has been exhausting and on top of that I'm also in a reading slump. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I didn't read much last month. The books I did read, I read in the beginning of the month.

 1. Brooklynaire (Brooklyn Bruisers #4) by Sarina Bowen 

 The first thing I read this month was a fun romance novel. I gave it 3 stars. I haven't read anything else by this author.

 2. The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli 

After reading Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, I couldn't wait to read other books by Becky Albertalli, sadly, I didn't enjoy this one as much. I didn't think the characters and storyline were interesting enough and I was often bored. I gave it 3 stars.

    I agree on The Upside of Unrequited. I loved Simon Vs, so maybe my expectations for Upside were too high.

    There is nothing worse than a horrible reading slump to spoil things and they can be so hard to get out of. I haven't read anything in ten days so I need to get moving!
