Sunday Post #91

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I am also linking The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance of Readerbuzz where bloggers discuss what they are reading and other bookish topics.

Life

I didn't have a great week, I was ill and too stressed out about everything or nothing in general. I will have to find a way to calm down more effectively.

Blog and books

I read Carry On for the first time. I have to admit I never seem to enjoy Rainbow Rowell's books as much as others seem to. So, I'm probably not going to read more of her books.

Are there authors everyone seems to love but you don't?

I also posted a Can't Wait Wednesday post this week. I'm quite excited to read some new releases this year, so I hope to post more of these in the future.

Movies and TV Shows

I also started watching Hotel del Luna, which is a Korean drama about a hotel for ghosts. I'm really enjoying it! Do you have any fantasy or science fiction recommendations?

What did you read or watch recently?

As always please leave some recommendations on what I should read or watch next!

If you enjoyed this review, please follow me on Bloglovin'TwitterInstagram, TVShowTime and Goodreads! I would really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. I'm so sorry you did not have a good week. It is awful to feel bad. There is so much stress in the world. Trying to find ways to deal with stress has led me into yoga and and meditation and into reading lots of books about happiness. I hope you can find some good methods.

I'm not a Rainbow Rowell fan, though I will say that I loved Eleanor & Park. But that is all.

I've just finished The Great British Baking Show and I'm busily watching Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

I hope you have a better week.

  2. Oh no- hope this is a better week. I admit I've only read one RR book- Fangirl- and I liked it but for some reason I haven't read her other stuff yet?

Anyway hope you have a nice weekend!

  4. I am sorry you had such a bad week, Lynn. Sending a virtual hug your way. Hotel del Luna sounds like something I would enjoy too. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! I have only read one Rainbow Rowell book and I did enjoy it. I haven't tried anything else by her though. It's okay if her books aren't for you. We can't all like the same books, right? And why waste your time on an author whose books you don't enjoy with so many others out there you do? I hope you have a great week!
