Sunday Post #12

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life

So, my teaching job this week was hectic. Apparently, I did not receive entirely correct information from the teacher I have to substitute which resulted in me having to change my planning in front of the class, which made me uncomfortable. I like being prepared and I prepared what that teacher said had to be done but that was not the case in several cases. This made it a very stressful week. On the other hand, contact in my other school with the teacher I will substitute has been great and I will have all the necessary information I need to start, so I'm looking forward to that. I also had to help yesterday at my school because they organised a BBQ. I was in the vegetable line, which was okay. Busy week, in short.

Blog

I have two posts for you this week! Quite happy with that because of the limited amount of spare time I had this week.

Can't-Wait Wednesday: My So-Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma

Stacking the Shelves: March E-book Haul

Books, TV and Film

I have read more in The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith, I'm liking it more than the first book!

I have watched one film, Jackie, which I liked but was a bit slow at times. Also watched a couple of Victoria episodes, The Graham Norton Show, Chicago Fire and Chicago P. D.

What did you read or watch recently?

  1. I wanted to see Jackie but I've seen a lot of reviews that don't say good things about it which puts me off a bit.

    1. I liked it but it felt more like a documentary at times and it was a bit slow. Natalie Portman was amazing, though!

  2. Oh that would be stressful having to switch up on the fly like that! I've always thought subbing would be tough at times... I haven't heard much about Jackie but bummer it was a little slow.

Hope you have a great week!
