Sunday Post #83

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer (image above belongs to @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer). It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I am also linking The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb Nance of Readerbuzz where bloggers discuss what they are reading and other bookish topics.

Life

I started a new job part-time teaching job this week, I already teach Spanish in evening classes for adults and now I also teach English and Dutch in a secondary school again. I have more than a full-time teaching job right now, so I don't have as much spare time as to read and blog as I would like to. But I now pass a Starbucks on my way to work every day, so it's not all bad :)

Blog and books

I finished Bringing Down the Duke this week and I really enjoyed it! Currently reading The Merciful Crow and while it has it flaws, it's also highly entertaining. Can't wait to read more!

Movies and TV Shows

I didn't watch much this week except for The Beautiful Fantastic and Sliding Doors, both were okay.

What did you read or watch recently?

As always please leave some recommendations on what I should read or watch next!

If you enjoyed this review, please follow me on Bloglovin'TwitterInstagram, TVShowTime and Goodreads! I would really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

    1. It is! I have watched Sliding Doors a couple of times before and always loved it, I think I just wasn't in the mood the last time.

  2. The Merciful Crow has such a beautiful cover! It's great that the flaws don't get too much in the way from it being enjoyable. :D

    1. I adore the cover as well! I really enjoyed it but I'm not sure if I will continue the series, I might have forgotten everything by the time the sequel comes out...

  3. Congratulations on your new job! I spent many years as a teacher and then a school librarian; these were my dream jobs. I hope you love your work, too.

The Merciful Crow looks like a great read. Glad the flaws don’t detract from your enjoyment of the book.

I’m reading and watching similar things, oddly. I’m thrilled the new Poldark season and the new Corfu season have begun, and I’m reading the second books of both of these series. I don’t think I’ve ever had such synchronicity in my reading/watching.

    Have a lovely week!

    1. Thank you! I do love teaching but it and especially the shedule can be very exhausting.
I haven't heard about Corfu before but I love Poldark! I really should get back to watching that show again!

Have a wonderful week as well!

  5. More than one teaching job (or any job) sounds exhausting! I hope you find some balance soon.
The ending of Sliding Doors always annoyed me but I like he idea of the film and how it shows two completely different lives and outcomes all dependant on one moment (missing or making the train).
